Ekrem is a famous artist, brought up by his uncle. He meets Fatos and falls in love. His cousin Jale wants him to marry her. Ekrem agrees to this, just as an expression of gratitude to his uncle. As Fatos goes to Izmir, her plane crashes and Ekrem believes that she is dead. So, he marries Jale. In an accident he loses his eyesight.
