The story of conquerors and prophets - The series takes place in Celtic Britain of the fifth century. The 13 year old Merlin grows up at the Court of his grandfather, King Ostar. His mother Alviga is the daughter of the King, his father is the son of the Devil, who appears as Rufus in human form. Rival of the boy is his uncle Hamor, the eldest son of the King. Merlin is prophesied to become the greatest magician of his time.
