Taking place before all other movies in the series, we follow Elise returning to her childhood home. Being plagued by nightmares of her mother's death, Elise receives a call from a man asking for help with a haunting of his own. It is soon discovered the man is living in Elise's childhood home, forcing her to face her past along with many other hidden dangers.
