Wasteland

Phil, an unemployed bong connoisseur (Keiran King), wakes up to find his laid-back life thrown into chaos and confusion by the actions of his mate, Nick (Michael Bruce Williams), a small time hustler. Despite being sucked into a vortex of mayhem, betrayal, destructive antics and drug-consuming oblivion, Phil becomes side-tracked trying to pick up the girl of his dreams. What ensues is a darkly comedic twenty-four hour marathon of drugs, violence and sexual frustration. Created by Michael Mackenzie and Tony Dupcinov, Wasteland is a black comedy about what happens to unemployed, under-achieving, lazy, drug-taking, time-wasting, irresponsible, Social Welfare-sponsored slackers as they contend with a lack of sex and money and an overabundance of drugs.
