The last members of a declining aristocratic family are provided by a man of inferior social grounds but with a better economic status. Based on Aleandroo's plot, Los Herederos was David Stivel's sole film experience. His comprehension of the nature of each scene is showed in a virtuous handling of space, in the expressive use of different scenery elements, in the creation out of the close-ups of a claustrophobic atmosphere
