Listen to this beautiful rendition of Sri Venkatesha Stotram by the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore. Sri Venkatesha Stotram is a famous hymn composed by the Sri Vaishnava acharya, Sri Prathivadhi Bhayankaram Aį¹į¹an. He was a disciple of the illustrious Sri Vaishnava acharya, Sri Manavala Mamuni, and was initiated by him with the name 'Sri Vaishnava Dasan'. It describes the supreme position of Lord Srinivasa Govinda and His innumerable transcendental qualities. It concludes with an ardent prayer to the Lord, seeking his causeless mercy and devotional service. Devotees sing this hymn during the early morning hours in Vaishnava temples for the pleasure of Lord Govinda. It was popularised by the efforts of Bharat Ratna, M. S. Subbulakshmi in recent years. Today, it is common to hear this hymn along with Venkatesha Suprabhata during the morning in Indian households.
