Gopal a fortune teller whose fortune always goes wrong he is insulted by a dancer Chandra during a Tamasha when comes with less amount to shell on her in front of bigwigs.Gopal turns a con man an comes with a huge amount to Chandra but leaves after having a one night stand to her as a revenge to his insult.He reaches a village and wins everyone's confidence and cons them and runs to Mumbai.The villagers are left in debt until Shankar agrees to go to Mumbai and find Gopal upon reaching Mumbai Shankar finds that Gopal has turned a smuggler and starts working for him in order to con him for the looted money of poor people.
